Commissioned by Father Peter Tabernacle, the new nave altar for Sir Ninian Comper’s master work at Wellingborough reflects his spirit, and goes a bit further. Made by Oliver Puchoras, with angels sculpted by Judith Bluck and decoration by Michael Madden. The altar was dedicated on the 8th July 2007.

Ave Maria Hall, Holywell

Work is nearing completion on our scheme for the rebuilding and renovation of the Ave Maria Hall and St Winefride’s Hospice in Holywell, North Wales. The Hospice will provide accommodation for pilgrims visiting the holy well nearby. The Hall will be a residence and chapel for the Brigittine Order whose members will care for the pilgrims.

Current project: An initial scheme for apartments in a listed Georgian house near Ulverston. The scheme aims to retain and enhance the grand architectural features of the interior. Phase 1.

This is a small but, we hope, perfectly formed addition to a Victorian gate lodge in the countryside north of Preston. It is of two storeys and exploits the change in level between the entrance drive and the garden.

Clifton Drive Methodist Church

Work has just started on our project to repair the stone spire at Clifton Drive Methodist Church in Lytham St Annes. The spire finial was brought down in strong winds. Our photoset shows the access scaffold being constructed and views of Lytham St Annes and Blackpool.
Summer Hill, Phase 1

Phase 1 of the development at Summer Hill is now complete. This consists of a new house for the owners which incorporates some elements of the historic building. The picture shows the building from the west with the new copper-clad extension providing a first floor living space. Phase 2 will involve the conversion of the original Georgian house, the completion of exterior painting to unify the building colour and the finishing of external works.
