We were asked to design a new church on a site on Accrington Road, Blackburn where the old church's tower had been retained. The new nave was built on a cross axis occupying the plinth of the old church. The arrangement of new rooms in relation to the nave produced a series of secure courtyards to serve the public rooms. Completed in 1993.
