St. Christopher’s Church, Blackpool: A new parish church for the Anglican Diocese of Blackburn. The Church was featured in three consecutive numbers of Church Building and also featured in Country Life. It was completed in 1991 at a cost of £400,000. The new Parish Centre at St. Christopher’s Church, Marton, Blackpool is connected to the main axis of the church (also by this practice). The centre consists of a multi-purpose hall, a lounge, a fully equipped stage, dressing rooms and a kitchen capable of catering for small conferences. It was completed in May 2001 and dedicated by the Archbishop of York.
